This hotel is a charming retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu, featuring beautiful wooden beams and a serene courtyard. The staff is quick to greet and helpful throughout your stay, and the dining options are diverse and tasty. However, you'll need to duck at the low doorways, and the showers don’t start until 6 am, which might be inconvenient for some guests.
Our stay was delightful from start to finish at this beautiful hotel that combines historic charm with modern comforts. The rooms were spacious and well-kept, and I especially loved the warm welcome of lemongrass tea upon arrival. While the service was attentive, I did find the low door frames a bit inconvenient. Overall, the hotel’s relaxing atmosphere and proximity to local attractions made it an excellent value for my time in Kathmandu.
My stay at Hotel Kaze Darbar was truly an oasis of calm while still being conveniently close to the bustling areas of Kathmandu. The hotel features a beautiful old building with high ceilings and lovely gardens, and I found the Nepalese-Japanese fusion dining options to be delicious. However, the low doorways were a bit challenging, and the shower hours could be more accommodating. Overall, it’s a charming place worth considering for a peaceful retreat in the city.
I had a lovely stay at this vintage hotel, which offers a quiet escape from the bustle of Kathmandu. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the restaurant provided excellent meals throughout the day. However, I did find that the doorways were quite low, which could be a challenge. Overall, the hotel is a charming spot for a relaxing stay.
My stay at Hotel Kaze Darbar was a wonderful experience where I enjoyed a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort. The ambiance was calm and serene, providing a relaxing escape from the busy streets of Kathmandu. The food was expertly prepared and delicious, especially the Nepalese-Japanese fusion dishes. However, the temperature in our room was an issue, as we only had a small heater, and that made it quite chilly at times. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay with minor hiccups.
